SWEET HOME ALABAMA FLASH MOB - 20th AUGUST
We are looking for people with lovely voices (and big hearts!) to join in with a very special flash mob on the 20th August in Wiltshire, to surprise a local woman named Michelle.
Late last year, Michelle, and her 5 year old daughter, unexpectedly lost husband & father Ady. Michelle and Ady had just gotten married 3 months prior to his death. A month later, Michelle also lost her father.
On August 20th 2023 , alongside Michelle's best friends, we are planning to surprise her by performing a singing flash mob in the field behind their garden, during a garden party to celebrate Ady's life. We'll be singing his favourite song... Sweet Home Alabama.
KEY INFO:
- We will supply lyrics, and a track to practice to (but it’s pretty much Sweet Home Alabama, with a few less verses than the original!)
- Volunteers must be able to get to Wiltshire on the 20th August
- We will hold a short rehearsal in Wiltshire around 4pm on the day
- This surprise will be filmed and posted on social media etc so volunteers must be ok with this
- We are looking to perform around 6pm, so should be all done and dusted by 6:30/7pm latest!
- We are looking for 40-50 people to take part including our professional London team so don’t worry, no solos required!
